    How long does it take?

Do I need a Web Site???
Not everyone needs a Web site. The payback should justify the expense. Reasons for creating Web sites range from gaining a more professional, credible image to increasing sales to posting schedules to developing an online community! And, of course, there is the all important one... just plain Delight in having one (!)

What are the steps in creating a Web site?
Choose and order a Domain Name
Choose and order a Hosting Service
Plan and gather content for the Web Site - (See our Client Survey)
Create and Test the Web Site
Launch the Web Site
Promote it

How much does it cost?
There is an initial expense (for creation of the Web site) as well as monthly expenses (for Hosting/Domain Name Registration and possibly updating the content). There also might be periodic costs associated with monitoring your Web site in the search engines. The more you are able to do, the more money is saved. If you can supply the logo/graphics, that saves a lot. If you have the material written, that saves a lot. If you do the updating after the Web site is launched that saves a lot. (We can teach you and make it easy for you to do that.)

How long does it take?
It can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months. A lot depends on how decisive you are (!) and on how fast you can supply/create content.

What do I have to do?
You can do as much or as little as you wish, almost. We welcome joint efforts. At minimum, you will need to spend time up front discussing with us the goals, vision, content etc. You will also need to approve things along the way.

Do I have to do anything when it is finished?
Content Updates: Typically a Web site content needs to be updated. For a simple site, only occasionally, for such things as a changed phone number. For other sites, perhaps a weekly schedule needs updating, or new products need to be added. For others, daily news updates may be required. You can do these or hire someone to do them.
Search Engine Updates: Typically, sites which are seeking lots of "hits" (visitors) will need to be updated to get a better position in a search engine. This too can be done by you, or you can hire someone to do it.
